Himalayan Trail Blazer was founded in 2009, after working for many years as a freelance tour/trekking leader. Pasang Sherpa founded Himalayan Trail Blazer to be a 100% locally-owned inbound ground operator in Nepal. Since 2009, Himalayan Trail Blazer has been proudly showcasing the scenic beauty of the glorious Himalayas to the world. As a Nepalese-owned company, Himalayan Trail Blazer offers wholesale tour operators the twin benefits of affordable ground services and superior quality itineraries and travel planning services. Today, the company employs a highly experienced staff and has proudly served thousands of trekking groups in Nepal.
What We Do
Himalayan Trail Blazer specializes in hiking, trekking, mountaineering and paragliding. Himalayan Trail Blazer offers both pre-planned itineraries and custom travel planning services. Our average group size has eight clients and two guides. Himalayan Trail Blazer can also accommodate large groups.

Our managing director Mr. Tshering Nima Sherpa has worked as guide in the mountain for many years and has personally vetted 80% of our trips in the Himalayas. Our Nepal trip has been vetted by the guides and leaders even before we started selling those trips.

We operate as such that the journeys ensure benefits to the local people as much as possible and any potential negative impacts at the destinations are minimized.
Apart from this, we also have policies for our porters and trekking guides. We facilitate them with various training and other facilities for bringing out the best in them and leave no stone unturned on whatever we offer. Also, all of our guides and porters are insured.
